• Narrative: We worked with Forrester Construction as a Mechanical Contractor building a Birthing Center in Washington, D.C.  The project included a complete alteration of the interior spaces and an addition of a Third Level to a building constructed in the 1960’s.  New building systems were installed for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, and Security Systems.  A Green Roof was incorporated to meet GAR and Stormwater Management requirements.  WLG installed RTU’s, Exhaust Fans, VAV’s, Unit Heaters, Split Systems, Water Heaters, Recirculating Pumps and Sump Pumps.
• Project Impact: The Birthing Center needed to be built ASAP to accommodate a waitlist of patients.
